BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer)
Built for long-term operation, ensuring sustainable development.
Under the BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) model, CNICC Group is responsible for the design, financing, and construction of the project, as well as its operation and maintenance during a specified period. Upon the completion of the operational phase, the project is handed over to the government or relevant authorities. This model is commonly used for public infrastructure projects, such as highways, power plants, and airports.
We collaborate with policy banks like EXIM Bank to provide long-term, low-interest loans and partner with sovereign funds and international financial institutions to ease the financial burden during the early stages of the project while ensuring sufficient funding during the operational phase.
BLT (Build-Lease-Transfer)
Creation as a Service, Optimizing Leasing Structures
Under the BLT model, China Nexus is responsible for the construction of infrastructure and leases it to the government or third parties. After the lease term ends, the assets are transferred. This model is widely used for public service projects such as schools and hospitals. Through well-structured leasing arrangements, the government can gradually repay construction costs, alleviating fiscal pressure. China Nexus, in collaboration with policy banks and commercial banks, provides low-interest loans and leasing financing solutions to ensure flexible and manageable project funding, creating a stable cash flow from rental income during the lease period.
BOOT (Build-Own-Operate-Transfer)
Long-term Ownership, Secure Operations
Under the BOOT model, China Nexus Infrastructure Capital Group is not only responsible for the construction and operation of projects but also retains ownership of the assets until they are transferred to the government or owner at the end of the contract term. This model is widely applied in sectors such as power plants, railways, and ports. By maintaining long-term ownership of assets, China Nexus ensures stable returns and efficient project management. The group offers diversified financing structures, including equity financing, bond issuance, and co-investment with international financial institutions, ensuring financial security and sustained profitability throughout the project lifecycle.
TOT (Transfer-Operate-Transfer)
Transformative Operations, Enhancing Project Efficiency
Under the TOT model, China Nexus Infrastructure Capital Group acquires existing infrastructure assets and enhances them through modernization, improving operational efficiency and overall performance. At the end of the operational period, the assets are transferred to the government or project initiator. This model is commonly applied to mature public facilities, such as bridges and highways. By combining direct investment with lease financing, China Nexus reduces the financial burden on investors while ensuring the upgrade and efficient operation of the projects.
PPP (Public-Private Partnership)
Public-Private Collaboration, Building a Shared Future
Under the PPP model, China Nexus Group works closely with government agencies to jointly invest in, construct, and operate projects, with both parties sharing the risks and returns. This model is particularly advantageous for large-scale infrastructure projects such as transportation networks and wastewater treatment plants. China Nexus collaborates with government agencies by co-investing and bringing in sovereign funds, policy banks, and private equity funds to diversify funding sources and enhance risk resilience for the projects.
Concession Agreement
Concession-Based Operations, Driving Long-Term Development
Under the Concession Agreement, the government grants China Nexus Infrastructure Capital Group the right to operate public services or infrastructure. China Nexus is responsible for the construction, operation, and management of the project, with the revenue generated used to repay construction and operational costs, while also generating profit. At the end of the agreement, the project assets are transferred to the government or relevant parties. This model is widely applied to long-term infrastructure projects such as ports, airports, and highways. China Nexus collaborates with policy banks and international financial institutions to provide long-term loans and project financing solutions, ensuring liquidity throughout the concession period. Additionally, through asset securitization and trust plans, predictable returns are created for investors.
